An American Underwater Odyssey: 50 Dives in 50 States is a
book that came out in 2002 but it is still valuable today for finding unique
dive sites in all of the 50 US states. Charles Ballinger took the journey
across the US and dove each of the sites from carnival like rock quarries with sunken buses and helicopters to searching for Megalodon shark teeth in North Carolina. It’s
all there for the diving. I talk with Charles about the book and his journey.
